神奈川県開成町でバイクと軽自動車が衝突する事故があり、バイクに乗っていた男性（49）が死亡しました。
神奈川県警は軽自動車を運転していた大学生の男を現行犯逮捕しています。
県警によりますと、事故があったのは開成町吉田島の県道の交差点で、2日午後7時過ぎ右折していたワンボックスの軽自動車と、対向車線を直進してきたバイクが衝突しました。
この事故でバイクに乗っていた近くに住む男性が胸などを強く打ち、病院に搬送されましたがまもなく死亡しました。
県警は、軽自動車を運転していた東京都練馬区に住む大学1年の男（18）を、過失運転傷害の疑いで現行犯逮捕し、男は容疑を認めているということです。
当時男は、友人と南足柄町の体育館に向かう途中だったということです。
